Tri-mountain Spotted Deer Farm (TSDM)is located in shenyang - an anciet cultural city in the northeast of china.
The TSDM is a hi-efficient modern farm with high standard level,and it mainly engages in the raising,breeding and rearing of spotted deer as well as the scientific research,product processing and foreign trade.The whole farm covers an area of 140,000㎡ and is divided into 6 areas:Raising and Breeding Area,Stocking and Domesticating Area,R&D Area,Products Processing Area,Comprehensive Office Area and Living Entertainment Area.
Raising and Breeding Area is responsible for rearing,breeding and raising good and improved new variety of Notheast spotted deer of China,enlarging good population and providing them to the contracted raising farmers.By virtues of the rich agricultural resource of China and by adopting the operation mode of "ENTERPRISE+FARMERS",the TSDM expands its business,unifies its management,sets unified price,centralizes its processing and sales ang expands its foreign trade.In the farm,there are 68 breeding pens and sheds of which each covers an area of 300㎡,and the present raising capability is 2500 deer.Each shed has PVC roof and is equipped with skidproof playground,automatic drinking facility,sprinkling facility,infrared monitoring lens and sound equipmet.These moder facilities provide more conveniences for the raising management,scientificeresearcheandeobservation.Ineorderetoeraiseeworkeefficiency,electromobile,elevator,sweeper and automatic feedstuff mixer etc.are equipped.Now the number of stock of spotted deer in the breeding area is 2200.
The stocking and Domesticating Area covers an area of 100,000㎡.Throughout the whole area good clovers are planted.In consideration with the ingestion habit of spotted deer and the property of Chinese medicinal herb,some Chinese medicinal herbs are selected and platned here.These Chinese medicinal herbs not only can improve deer's resistance to some disease but also can retain the natural composition of Chinese medicinal herbs in the byproducts of deer,especially in the pilose antler,thus enhancing the efficacy of these byproducts of deer and achieving TSDM's own characteristic products.The broad natural ley and reasonable feeding show the expanse and richness of nature and human's amicability.Here you can see the wonderful scene that human blend with deer while deer blend with the nature.It is suitable for domesticating and raising fawn and also for sightseeing.
In R&D Area there are four research buildings with different functions，which are to be four research institutes，i.e．Research lnstitute for Breeding Improved Varieties，Research lnstitute for Raising and Domestication,Research Insitute for Preventing Deer From Diseases,and Research Institute for Product Development.Domestic and foreign experts and famous scholars are invited to act as director and technical advisor;new and advanced technologies are introduced to solve the problems occurred in the actual production;new projects are developed continuously.
Product Processing Area is responsible for developing new drugs and health-care foods containing the active ingredinent of pilose antler,deer blood and other byproducts of deer by using high technology.The lst stage engineering is in progress,and a standard workshop for processing pilose antler has been built up.The next stage engineering will take account into the actual needs of the project.
Comprehensive Office Area is the hub of the whole farm.Here there is monitoring center,office center,meeting room and show hall.Monitoring Center is equipped with a large screen display from which it is possible to make overall and 24-hour monitor and record on the whole farm and each shed and workshop through the monitoring lens in each shed and elevated monitoring system,thus providing convenience for inspecting deer populations,giving guidance to raising and feeding,making scientific research and observation,realizing remote study and seeing doctor.In addition,by virtue of these monitoring system and large screen display,visitors may appreciate deer population without entering the raising area that is beneficial to the raising management and the prevention of diseases.Through the monitoring center,it is possible to operate the infrared anti-theft alarming system of the whole farm and the gate control.
Living Entertainment Area is among the Comprehensive Office Area,Product Processing Area and Raising Area.Here you can enjoy the waved thick and green grass,the white pigeons,the merry birds dancing on branches,the quiet streamlet,the long corridor weaving through pavilions,the carefree fish swimming in pool and the lovely deer playing in ley.The fairy scene contains Chinese all auspicious signs,Fu pool stands for the felicity,the lovely spotted deer stands for the fortune,the Zigzag"Shou"of Liubei Pavilion stands for the longevity and Mountain Xi stands for the happiness.It is the perfect combination of modem technology and ancient civilization.Its characteristic catering & entertainment town is also attractive and can satisfy the different taste of different people.
The TSDF has invested RMB45 million yuan and is going to invest additional RMB10-30 million yuan for importing equipment,introducing projects and expanding alliance scale so as to form a regional spotted deer industry system integrating raising and processing with a stock of 10,000 deer.
